Learn how automated shoutouts and push notifications work in Salon Symphony.   

Pro Tip: All automations are enabled by default and will send to every registered user in your workspace when specific conditions are met.  

Birthday Shoutouts

Automatically sent via push notification to your entire team at 9:00 AM PST on the user's {date-of-birth}.

Anniversary Alerts

Automatically sent via push notification to your entire team at 9:00 AM PST on the user's {hire-date}. 

New Hire Intros

Automatically sent via push notification to your entire team at 9:00 AM PST on the user's {join-date}.

Disable Shoutouts

If you're a large organizations inviting several team members, you may wish to turn off the new hire Welcome aboard notification.

To stop automated shoutouts from sending:

1. Navigate to Team » Shoutouts.
2. Choose the shoutout you wish to disable.
3. In the Off/On column, switch the toggle to the left (see below).
