In this article, you'll learn how to invite staff to join you on Salon Symphony. You'll learn the difference between adding admins and members to your workspace.
Adding Admins
Admins have full access to both the Mobile App and the Admin Dashboard. Each Admin added to your workspace counts as 1 user seat towards your plan. To invite an Admin, follow the steps below.
Pro Tip: Admins are granted higher permission levels. Think of Admins as your leadership team. Admins can manage billing and payment settings, upload and delete content, add and remove users, and more.
- From the dashboard, click the + Invite button at the bottom of the sidebar menu.
- In the first field, enter the admins Full Name.
- To the right of the person's name, click the Member ▾ dropdown and switch the role to Admin.
- Note: Salon Symphony defaults to the Member role each time you invite a new user.
- Next, enter the admin's Phone Number.
- From the Location dropdown, assign this admin to their respective location.
- Using the calendar, select the member's Hire Date.
- Click Send Invite.
After clicking Send Invite, Salon Symphony automatically sends a verification code via SMS to the user with a link to download the Salon Symphony mobile app.
Adding Members
Members refer to anyone who joins your Salon Symphony account as a staff member, such as service providers. Every Member added to your workspace counts as 1 user seat towards your plan.
Pro Tip: Members have access to Salon Symphony’s mobile app. Here they can interact and engage with your content, such as RSVP to events, start group chats, take quizzes, submit surveys, and more.
- From the dashboard, click the + Invite button at the bottom of the sidebar menu.
- In the first field, enter the member's Full Name.
- Note: Salon Symphony defaults to the Member role. You can switch between Admin and Member roles by clicking the dropdown in the same field.
- Next, enter the member's Phone Number.
- From the Location dropdown, assign this member to their respective location.
- Using the calendar, select the member's Hire Date.
- Click Send Invite.
After clicking Send Invite, Salon Symphony automatically sends a verification code via SMS to the user with a link to download the Salon Symphony mobile app.
Cancel Invite
Learn how to cancel a invite you've already sent from your dashboard following these steps:
- From your dashboard, click Team.
- In the Role column, click Invited ▾
- From the dropdown menu, click Cancel Invite.
Resend Invite
Learn how to resend an invitation you've already sent from your dashboard following these steps:
- From your dashboard, click Team.
- In the Role column, click Invited ▾
- From the dropdown menu, click Resend Invitation.
Didn't receive SMS?
If a member you invited never received an SMS with a verification code, you can Cancel Invite and resend an invitation.
- From your dashboard, click Team.
- In the Role column, click Invited ▾
- From the dropdown menu, click Cancel Invite.
