Salon Symphony automatically groups members by Job Title and Location. Follow the steps in this article to learn how to edit and create user groups within Salon Symphony.
Default Groups
The following groups are automatically generated by Salon Symphony:
- Job Titles: Every member must belong to at least one Job Title.
- Locations: Every member must belong to at least one Location.
Custom Groups
- From the Dashboard, click Team in the sidebar menu.
- In the Team menu, click Groups.
- Pro Tip: Here you'll find all your existing groups generated by Salon Symphony.
- To create a new group, click Create Group in the top right-hand corner.
- Enter the Group Name, like Wedding Crew, for instance.
- From the Add Members dropdown, select the individuals you wish to add to this group.
- Optional: upload a Group Photo that represents this group.
- Click Save Group.
Message Groups
Admins can send Group Chats to any user group in their workspace. Follow the steps below to send a message to a specific group.
- From the Dashboard, click Team in the sidebar menu.
- In the Team menu, click Groups.
- Find the group you'll message and click the ellipses ••• icon.
- From the overlay, click Chat Group.
- This will open the Chat Messenger.
- Type your message and click the send ➤ arrow.
