Learn how to approve and decline time off, schedule and education requests in Salon Symphony.
Important: All request decisions are final. Once a request has been approved or declined, you cannot undo your decision. This feature will be updated in our next release! We apologize for any inconvenience.
Time Off Requests
From the Mobile App, your staff can submit time off requests (vacation, sick time, personal, etc.) for your review. Admins can approve or decline requests from the Admin Dashboard.
- From your dashboard menu, click Requests.
- Using the tabs at the top, you can filter requests by Request Type.
- Note: Salon Symphony defaults to Time Off when landing on the Requests page.
- All Time Off Requests will appear in a table view.
- To Approve or Decline a request, locate a specific request.
- Next, click Pending ▾ button.
- From the dropdown, click Approve or Decline.
- Optional: Add a note that supports your decision.
- Click Approve or Decline to confirm.
Education Requests
From the Mobile App, members can submit education requests (class hours and reimbursement) for your review. Admins can approve or decline requests from the Admin Dashboard.
- From your dashboard menu, click Requests.
- Using the tabs at the top, click Education.
- All Education Requests will appear in a table view.
- To Approve or Decline a request, locate a specific request.
- Next, click Pending ▾ button.
- From the dropdown, click Approve or Decline.
- Optional: Add a note that supports your decision.
- Click Approve or Decline to confirm.
Schedule Requests
From the Mobile App, your team can submit schedule requests for your review. Admins can approve or decline requests from the Admin Dashboard.
- From your dashboard menu, click Requests.
- Using the tabs at the top, click Schedule.
- All Schedule Requests will appear in a table view.
- To Approve or Decline a request, locate a specific request.
- Next, click Pending ▾ button.
- From the dropdown, click Approve or Decline.
- Optional: Add a note that supports your decision.
- Click Approve or Decline to confirm.
Request History
Admins can view a log of member requests from the Request Details page by following these steps.
- From your dashboard menu, click Requests.
- Find the request you wish to view and click the member's Name.
- This is the Request Details page.
- To the right, you'll find a printable log of this member's request history.
