Flashcard Builder

Learn how to create and customize quizzes using Salon Symphony's Flashcard Builder. 

Step 1: Flashcard Details

1. From your dashboard menu, click Flashcards.
2. At the top right, click Create Set.
3. In the first field, enter the Set Name, like Aveda Service Cycle.  
4. In the Category dropdown, choose the quiz type, such as Business.
5. Based on the category, add one or two relevant Tags, such as Consultation, Dialogue. 
   • Pro Tip: Tags help members find and filter content more quickly.
6. Optional: Add a Description or details about this flashcard set. 
7. Click Continue.
8. Next, add a Cover Photo by choosing:
   • To upload a custom photo: drag and drop your image file into the container.
   • To choose from the gallery: click Gallery, then browse of search for an image.
9. Click Next.

Step 2: Flashcard Questions

1. From the Flashcard Builder page...
2. Enter the prompt or question Front in the first text field.
3. Optional: Add an image to the front of this card by clicking the + in the same field.
4. Enter the prompt or question Back in the second text field.
5. Optional: Add an image to the back of this card by clicking the + in the same field.
6. To add another card to this set, click + Add Card.
7. Repeat steps 1 - 4 until your set is complete.
8. Once finished, click Publish Set.
