Learn how to post upcoming events from the Admin Dashboard, plus track RSVPs!
Post Online Event
To post an online event, such as a Zoom conference or webinar, follow the steps below:
- From your Dashboard, click Events in the sidebar menu.
- In the top right-hand corner, click Post Event.
- Next choose the Event Type: Online.
- Pro Tip: this is any event with an external link, like a virtual workshop.
- Enter the Event Name, like Social Media Makeup Webinar, for instance.
- Enter the Educator/Organizer Name, like Janell Geason.
- From the dropdown, select the event Category.
- Pro Tip: This helps members find and filter relevant events.
- Optional: Add Event Details.
- Click Next.
- Add the Event Link.
- Pro Tip: simply copy and paste the Zoom link into the field.
- From the calendar, add the Start Date.
- Add the Start Time.
- Choose the Timezone.
- Then, add End Date.
- Add the End Time.
- Optional: Add the Price.
- Pro Tip: if the event is free, leave the price field blank.
- Click Next.
- Add an event Cover Photo from the following options:
- Upload an Image: drag and drop your image file into the dashed container.
- Choose from Gallery: click gallery, then browse or search for an image.
- Click Post Event.
Post In-Person Event
To post an in-person event, such as an in-salon class or beauty show, follow these steps:
- From your Dashboard, click Events in the sidebar menu.
- In the top right-hand corner, click Post Event.
- Next choose the Event Type: In-Person.
- Pro Tip: this is any event with a physical address, like an in-salon class.
- Enter the Event Name, like Advanced Coloring Techniques, for instance.
- Enter the Educator/Organizer Name, like Lenny Strand.
- From the dropdown, select the event Category.
- Pro Tip: This helps members find and filter relevant events.
- Optional: Add Event Details.
- Click Next.
- Add the Event Location.
- Pro Tip: type the business name in the event address and feel the magic. For example, try Orange County Convention Center.
- From the calendar, add the Start Date.
- Add the Start Time.
- Choose the Timezone.
- Then, add End Date.
- Add the End Time.
- Optional: Add the Price.
- Pro Tip: if the event is free, leave the price field blank.
- Click Next.
- Add an event Cover Photo from the following options:
- Upload an Image: drag and drop your image file into the dashed container.
- Choose from Gallery: click gallery, then browse or search for an image.
- Click Post Event.
Track RSVPs
From the Mobile App, your team can RSVP to events by setting their status to: Going, Interested, Can't Go. To view event responses, follow the steps below.
- Click Events in the sidebar menu.
- In the table view, click the Event Name you wish you view.
- From the event details page, find the Event Responses column.
- Here you'll find an overview of everyone who has currently RSVP'd.
Create Draft Events
To create a draft or preview of an event, simply select yourself as the Recipient of the event.
By selecting yourself only as the recipient, the event will only be visible to you. When you're ready to make the event visible to other people in your workspace, you can edit the event.
Edit Events
To edit an existing event, visit the Event Details screen and click Edit.
